About

Melody Fowler Owner/Designer, Tea Party Designs

It all started with a mermaid dilemma….In 2010, Melody knew she wanted to do a mermaid theme party for her daughter’s first birthday, so she went straight to Etsy and looked at invite after invite.  After an exhausting search, Melody couldn’t find exactly what she wanted…and so it began.  She took a stab at creating her own design and layout, a rhinestone here, some glitter there, and presto!

After the party, Melody decided to open an Etsy store and list some of her designs to see if there was any interest.  Mermaids led to pirates naturally, but then came monsters, ladybugs, ballerinas, and more!  Please see the Shop page to see current design collections.  If you don’t see a particular theme, contact Tea Party Designs for a custom design.

She has so much fun designing party supplies and helping to make parties a little more special for all your little angels.

Tea Party Designs has been featured on Catch My Party, EtsyKids, Baby Cheapskate, Baby Half Off, Cuteable, and more.

Some of Melody’s favorite things include anything and everything pink, hot summer days (the hotter the better), shoes, and her guilty pleasure is many reality shows.

Melody lives in Massachusetts with her husband of seven years, their 2-year old daughter, and a Shih-Tzu that rules the house.
